Every Wednesday and Saturday, there are sauna sessions with special infusions, led by a sauna master.

The thermal lake of Hévíz is the world’s second largest natural warm-water lake – but the largest that is also suitable for bathing. The warm water springs that feed the lake are extremely rich in healing minerals, and the mud from the lakebed is used for facials and in various rejuvenating treatments.
The temperature of the lake’s water is a pleasant 33-35ºC in summer, but even in mid-winter it never drops below 23ºC – allowing you to float comfortably on the surface even when it’s snowing.
The sulphur in the thermal water is responsible for its extraordinary healing properties. Another special feature of Hévíz is the 1-metre-thick layer of therapeutic mud that covers the lakebed. It is a peat sludge of predominantly vegetable origin, containing many beneficial minerals. The sludge used in our hotel is fine and pleasant to the touch, perfect for mud-pack treatments.
The jewels of the lake are the Indian red fairy roses with their dark pink flowers and huge size.
