We had an overall wonderful stay at Ensana Margaret Island and would definitely recommend it! We’ll certainly be coming back, but there are a few practical things management could fine-tune to make the experience 100% perfect. What we loved: The Room & View: Everything was extraordinarily good! The room and the balcony were spotless and very spacious. Waking up to the serene view of the Danube in such a peaceful atmosphere was the highlight of our trip. 50% Restaurant Discount: A fantastic perk! However, we only found out about the 50% discount at the hotel restaurant upon check-in at reception. It would be awesome if this was communicated in advance so guests can plan accordingly. Areas for improvement (Room & Spa): Room Maintenance: The showerhead was broken, and the bathroom light flickered from time to time (room 240). Spa & Thermal Water: The spa is nice, but the fresh water pool was slightly over-chlorinated. As for the saunas: the aroma sauna only smelled good in the morning (after 2 PM, the scent was completely gone). In the steam sauna, the bottom steam pipes point directly toward your feet, so if you don't sit in just the right spot, the burst of hot steam can actually burn your legs. Spa Atmosphere: It lacked a bit of ambiance around the pools. Adding some soft background music or screens with peaceful scenery would make a huge difference—otherwise, everyone is just sitting there staring at each other! Final Verdict: Despite these minor hiccups, the tranquility, comfort, and amazing location made it a fantastic trip. Highly recommended, and we look forward to our next visit! I have come back several times to Ensana Thermal Margitszíget, and it has always been a pleasure. The reception desk and restaurant wait staff are professional and reaponsive. The rooms are comfortable and I was upgraded to one - clean, comfortable - on a high floor with a lovely balcony and view of the Danube. The crowning jewel is the thermal baths (3), sauna, aroma room, swimming pool, and the relaxation areas. I have not tried the separate services yet. The hotel is surrounded by walking paths and is an easy trip from the belváros (inner city). I continue to come back because this is a wonderful mini-escape from the stresses of every day life!

Beautiful property with excellent spa facilities, relaxing thermal pools, and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to relax and recharge!

This is our fifth time at your hotel. Excellent service, good food, good facilities, and a great location.

Good variety of breakfast. Nothing special. American pancakes and has browns kind of dry. Very tasty omelettes!
