Antispastic Kinesiotherapy

What is antispastic kinesiotherapy

This therapy is carried out using a special electronically-controlled device. The machine applies dynamic movement to the lower or upper limbs. The advantage of the device is that it can record any active movement which the person makes through their own strength, thus progress can be monitored. In cases of minimal muscle movement, an electric motor assists the movement.

How antispastic kinesiotherapy helps

The anti-spasm function works by stopping the movement and automatically moving back, thereby resulting in the dissolution of the spasm and the reduced frequency of spastic complications. The treatment results in the strengthening of the muscles, better mobilisation of joints and the self-reliance of the guest. It is used in conjunction with ergo-therapy, the rehabilitation path and other types of physiotherapy treatments.
