Back School
What is the back school
When attending the back school, you will learn a set of exercises to prevent backaches or to relieve any backaches that are already present. These exercises aim at strengthening all muscles crucial in supporting correct body posture, in particular the stomach, thigh and back muscles. Further, it is necessary to stretch stiff or overloaded muscles that hamper the mobility of the spine and cause intermittent or long-lasting pain.
How back school helps
You will learn how to move around to prevent backaches from appearing, how to sit or stand for a long time so that your upper or lower back will not get overloaded, and how to transport loads without hurting your back. Thanks to these exercises and techniques you may prevent some very painful conditions like disc herniation or nerve root compression from occurring or repeating (if you have already had them).
