Kinesiotaping
What is kinesiotaping
Kinesiology tape is made from elastic cotton fabric and adhesive. It is stuck onto the skin in a specific manner to produce certain tension. Professionally-applied tape will remain on the surface of the skin for 4-5 days. Due to its elasticity and ease of wearing, it moves together with body tissue and does not limit movement.
How kinesiotaping helps
Through various professional taping techniques, it can be used to achieve strengthening, correcting, or regenerating effects. As a result of the applied tape, soft tissues may normalise their tone, lymph flow becomes more intensive, circulation improves, and heavy pressure on pain receptors is reduced. Kinesiotaping stabilises the muscles and joints, relieves the load on strained tissues, prevents muscle cramps, and reduces the occurrence of inflammation.
