A Golfer’s Dream

King Edward VII opened this golf course in 1905. It is the oldest golf course in the Czech Republic and this 18-hole course is also the only golf club in Continental Europe to have earned the title of “Royal Golf Club”, which Queen Elizabeth II bestowed on it in 2003. It lies right outside of the Emperor’s Forest, only three kilometres from the city centre. Unlike newer courses, its small greens pose big challenges to the players.

This golf course is much newer than the Royal Golf Club Marienbad. It was opened in 2008 and lies just seven kilometres from Marienbad. The course blends in seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, and part of it lies in the park of Kynžvart Castle, which formerly belonged to Austrian State Chancellor Metternich.

This 18-hole championship course was created by former golfer Gary Player. The Scottish-style course enchants players with its modern equipment and beautiful surroundings. Opened in 2001, it poses challenges even to experienced golfers thanks to the numerous water hazards as well as natural and artificial obstacles.

One of the most beautiful golf courses in the Czech Republic is located right at the German border in Hazlov near Františkovy Lázně. This course takes full advantage of its location in the heart of a nature reserve on the Eger River. Its 18 tracks are in harmony with the natural landscape of their hilly setting.

This 18-hole golf course lies on extensively re-cultivated former coal mining sites. Located 22 kilometres from Marienbad, it spans 100 hectares and offers all that you could want from a modern golf course. Each hole has four tees, and the courses wind through the hilly landscape, demanding a precise game.
