Excellent breakfast. The room and hotel has a lot of character and extremely comfortable beds. A great destination to rest and relax

We have been to this hotel many times and are never disappointed. The rooms are large and comfortable with a restful design and lovely views from the balcony of the trees and river. We even regularly see bats flying outside the balcony at dusk. The island is beautiful and well maintained with a huge amount of wildlife and hundreds of beautiful trees.The hotel is easy to access by a convenient bus that you can get from a location that is only 2 metro stops from the town centre. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining high standards and the breakfast room is calm and peaceful no matter what time you have breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner in the Bistro that is also very peaceful and good value. The Spa in the basement of the hotel is a huge bonus and has everything you need to relax and unwind. We will definitely be returning again next year.

The place exceeded our expectations; the hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming, surrounded by fantastic nature and a great sense of peace. The room is spacious and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast is generous and of excellent quality, served in an elegant dining room with large windows that offer views of the natural surroundings. The spa is very large, beautiful, and clean. The staff welcomed us with a smile, allowed us an early check-in, and—since we had to leave very early in the morning—prepared a breakfast for us to take along. Thank you for hosting us; you were fantastic, and we had a wonderful vacation.
