Water Rehabilitation
What is water rehabilitation
Perhaps better known as physiotherapy in water or hydrokinesiotherapy, this is remedial exercise performed in water at the temperature of 29-33 °C. In many of our spas, the water used is naturally thermal. The exercises are lead by a physiotherapist standing ashore.
How water rehabilitation helps
Because of the buoyancy, resistance and chemical effects of the water, it is very effective for persons with degenerative diseases of the weight-carrying joints in addition to post-operative rehabilitation. It is also suitable for overweight people or those who are unable to perform group exercises on the floor.
