Dynamic Current Therapy
What are diadynamic currents?
This treatment uses the simultaneous application of galvanic and alternating electric currents (so-called diadynamic currents). They have an inhibitory or facilitating effect, depending on the frequency, intensity and other parameters. These currents are applied by means of neutral electrodes with protective sheaths, positioned transversely or along the treated area. The duration of standard treatment is 6-12 minutes.
Benefits of Dynamic Current Dynamic
currents can relieve pain, relax or stimulate muscles, improve blood circulation in the limbs. You may feel tingling and notice reddening of the skin or slight muscle contractions. Diadynamic currents cannot be used in obese patients because the fat deposits under the skin block the conduction of this type of electricity in the target tissues.
